In 2022, after almost eight years as Executive and Artistic Director of ArtSpring, Cicela returned to life as a musician, exploring collaborations with musicians, composers, and other artists. Making music as a way to tell stories is a passion that she continues to pursue. Cicela currently studies voice with Benjamin Butterfield, piano with Alex Chen, jazz piano with Grace McNab, and jazz guitar with Chris Fraser. Cicela holds a Bachelor of Music from McGill University. Cicela lives in the wonderful community of Salt Spring Island on the West Coast of Canada.
